We offer many different styles of invitations on our site and have compiled some of the most popular pieces into packages. All of the packages come with an invitation, reply card, response envelope, and outer envelope. We offer two main categories of invitations in our packages, handmade paper or lotka paper, seeded or non-seeded. Below is a more detailed description of each type of paper.
Lotka paper is made from the bark of the Daphne bush which regenerates naturally, making it an ideal renewable resource. All lotka envelopes and lotka paper are 50% recycled and acid free. Our lotka paper is produced in a village in Nepal and your purchase will benefit the economic enterprise of rural craftspeople in that area. The seeded versions contain a mix of North American wild flower seeds and will bloom if planted.
Handmade papers are tree free and have a luxuriant feel. Our paper is produced in our studio in Seattle, Washington and we make every effort to conserve water and resources in the production process. We add no chemicals or other agents to ensure that our process is as environmentally friendly as possible. We are happy to offer 100% post industrial waste recycled handmade paper upon request at no additional charge. The seeded versions contain a mix of North American wild flower seeds and will bloom if planted.
