Lotka paper is made from the bark of the Daphne bush which regenerates naturally, making it an ideal renewable resource. All lotka envelopes and lotka paper are 50% recycled and acid free. Our lotka paper is produced in a village in Nepal and your purchase will benefit the economic enterprise of rural craftspeople in that area. The seeded versions contain a mix of North American wild flower seeds and will bloom if planted.

Handmade papers are tree free and have a luxuriant feel. Our paper is produced in our studio in Seattle, Washington and we make every effort to conserve water and resources in the production process. We add no chemicals or other agents to ensure that our process is as environmentally friendly as possible.
